Hello from Carpenter Nature Center

About 6 months ago I started submitting a monthly article called Nature Notes to the Hastings Star Gazette. The article covered the month’s phenology (seasonal observations) and a few of the natural areas in our city worth exploring. Today we will attempt to turn that column into a blog. I say we, since I recruited some nature photographers, writers and poets to lend a hand in posting to the blog. I hope you enjoy our efforts and it helps you remember to pause and enjoy some of the wonders of the natural world.
